Hulu has recently released a full-length trailer for the upcoming Bon Jovi docuseries. This series promises to take viewers behind the scenes and provide insights into the band's journey to fame. Alongside exploring the band's formation and the challenges they faced over the years, audiences can look forward to never-before-seen photos and unheard demo songs, offering a fresh perspective on Bon Jovi's musical evolution.
"Are we telling the truth? Are we going to lie? What are we going to do?" muses estranged guitarist Richie Sambora at the beginning of the trailer. It swiftly transitions to snapshots of the band in their early days, with a clip of Jon Bon Jovi declaring, "Bon Jovi was all or nothing."

Dreams and Stadium Anthems
Keyboardist David Bryan reminisces, sharing how they were simply five guys with a big dream when they started out. The trailer then offers fans a glimpse of the band's energetic performances throughout the '80s, with lively clips showcasing stadiums filled with people singing along to their songs.
We hear Jon reflecting on the exhilarating feeling of being at the pinnacle of success and the unmatched fun they experienced, comparable to any other rock band. The trailer showcases various clips of the band fully embracing the rock 'n roll lifestyle, from reveling in the energy of stadium crowds to autographing fans' chests.
Bon Jovi's Journey Through Adversity
The trailer hints that the series will delve into the band's more somber moments. Drummer Tico Torres opens up about how the band's peak of success led to the demise of his marriage, while Jon remarks that it nearly spelled their downfall. Sambora, who departed the band, expresses that he doesn't regret leaving, but rather regrets the way he handled it.
As the members briefly discussed Sambora's departure from the band, they expressed their determination to persevere—and now, many years later, they remain committed to their musical journey.
Jon's Health and Bon Jovi's Journey
Besides showcasing the band, fans will get to understand Jon's vocal struggles that arose as filming for the docuseries began in February 2022. Jon himself touched on his health during Hulu's panel discussion for the series in late February, revealing his worries about feeling like he was losing his music.
In addition to interviews with past and present band members, Thank You, Goodnight also includes discussions with Bruce Springsteen, John Shanks, Obie O’Brien, Everett Bradley, Doc McGee, and Dorothea Bongiovi.
The four-part series is directed and executive produced by Gotham Chopra. Thank You, Goodnight will premiere in its entirety on Hulu on April 26.
