Manifesting TaeKook subunit! BTS V's feature on Jungkook's 'I AM STILL' program book has ARMY hoping for a song

And the wait continues! A song from the brilliant duo, Kim Taehyung (aka V) and Jeon Jungkook from Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS), has been a dream for the ARMY. One has a deep, baritone voice, while the other's tone is light, crystal-clear, velvety smooth, and flowing, making the two an excellent combination. However, BigHit Music seems not to be hearing ARMY's plea.

Recently, the agency released Jungkook's "I AM STILL" program book on September 13, 2024. The book contains snippets from his eight-month journey as a solo artist while recording his solo album, 'GOLDEN'. While fans were happy to see the maknae's journey, they were especially thrilled by one picture that grabbed their attention. Among the images, ARMY spotted Taehyung visiting Jungkook during his recording session. 

Fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise the dynamic duo, fondly called "TaeKook" (their ship name), and to ask BigHit Music when they’ll finally get a song from the two. Many also pointed out that the singers have often mentioned sharing their music before its release, showing the trust and deep bond they share.

Jungkook's upcoming documentary, I AM STILL, is set to be released on September 18 worldwide. The film will take fans on an incredible journey to stardom. Jungkook is currently serving his military duty in South Korea and will be discharged in June 2025. Meanwhile, V is also enlisted in the military, where he has joined the SDT (Special Forces) unit.

Taehyung made a special guest appearance in Jimin and Jungkook’s reality travel show Are You Sure?!, which fans can watch on Disney+. The show was filmed between July 2023 and November 2023, ahead of their military enlistment.
