Grammy nominations 2025
The 2025 Grammy nominations have been revealed, and as expected, favorites like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Billie Eilish led the list of top contenders, following a record-breaking year in music sales and streaming. The eligibility period for this year's nominations—from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024—saw a blend of established superstars and emerging talents making a significant impact with their latest projects.

However, what has sparked anger among one of the biggest fandoms in the world—ARMY, the fans of global superstars BTS—is the snubbing of all the BTS members from various categories. ARMY has expressed their frustration on X (formerly known as Twitter) over the exclusion of members like Kim Namjoon (RM), whose album "Right Place, Wrong Person" received widespread critical acclaim, and Jeon Jungkook, whose song "Standing Next To You" and album "Golden" are still charting on various platforms.
Park Jimin's "WHO" continues to dominate the Billboard charts, while Kim Taehyung’s FRI(END)S topped iTunes charts in over 100 countries. Jung Hoseok's "Hope On The Street Vol. 1" even reached the 5th spot on the Billboard 200.
ARMY are asking why does Grammy hate the BTS members so much that they wan't to only box them in the K-pop categories like other music award shows and not give them the value for their efforts.

RPWP was fvcking snubbed and nobody can change my mind. Ain't no way these overrated af albums got nominations when critically acclaimed, an artistic masterpiece like RPWP was literally in the competition pic.twitter.com/mqWW5DxyRV

Grammy has always sucked. They have been like this to so many icons who deserved the nominations and awards yet never got them. It is a fraud & the boys don't need it. It is never bts needs a grammy, it's more like Grammy needs bts. Grammy will never be worthy of them 😀

The Grammys are rigged as always. They are racist.

Standing next to you, Friends and Who are literally the most popular songs worldwide in 2024 and also critically acclaimed and you're telling me they didn't get a single nomination?
— nush⁷ (@cypheraze) November 8, 2024
Anyway not surprised but fuck Grammy. Literally all BTS members who submitted deserved nominations

Interestingly, no K-pop artists were nominated at the 2025 Grammys. Zach Bryan is also notably absent from this year's Grammy nominations, with sources revealing that he chose to withhold his music from consideration. Bryan expressed discomfort with the competitive nature of music awards, a sentiment that echoes past criticisms from artists like Drake, The Weeknd, and Frank Ocean, all of whom have previously voiced their discontent with the institution.
