BTS' Kim Taehyung aka V launched his much-awaited photobook "TYPE 1" on July 9, 2024, which also marks ARMY Day. The singer is dreamy and peaceful in the photo book, which takes fans on an unforgettable journey through his free time.

For the photobook, V announced a special exhibition called "ARTSPACE: TYPE 1," in major cities including Seoul, Tokyo, Vancouver, Bangkok, and more. The confirmed venues included Platform-L in Seoul, South Korea; EmQuartier in Bangkok, Thailand; Breeze Nan Shan in Taipei, Taiwan; Metropolis at Metrotown in Vancouver, Canada; Edgemar in Los Angeles, US; and 9th SyBuilding in Tokyo, Japan.

The photo book will be accessible on Weverse Shop and other retailers such as Cokodive. V carefully selected moments he wanted to cherish with ARMY culminating in a comprehensive 224-page photobook.

About Kim Taehyung:

He is currently serving as an active soldier in the Capital Defence Command's Special Task Force of the South Korean military. On December 11, 2023, he and BTS leader RM had enlisted. He was recently seen on patrol at a Korean event in Chuncheon, where he flaunted his toned body and showed off his friendly side by posing for pictures with his fellow soldiers. 

Just before he enlisted, he released his first EP (extended play) 'LAYOVER' in September 2023. He released his first English single FRI(END)S post-military enlistment in March.

The four singles that he has charted on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist include "Slow Dancing," which peaked at number 51 in 2023.
