According to a BigHit news release, the project reflects "a raw and honest presentation of RM’s distinctive sensibility, aesthetics, and beliefs." This follows the South Korean artist’s 2022 debut album, "Indigo," which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

"Come Back to Me" features lyrics by RM and contributions from OHHYUK of the South Korean band HYUKOH, Kuo of the Taiwanese band Sunset Rollercoaster on guitar and bass, as well as singer-songwriter JNKYRD and San Yawn of Balming Tiger.
