Tyler Christopher's uncovered story: From tough times to two arrests

Apart from his illustrious acting career, Christopher faced several challenges in the later stages of his life. In 2019, he underwent craniotomy surgery after a fall in his bathroom resulted in a head injury at his residence. As revealed in an interview Christopher gave in July, his sister sought legal guardianship to support him during his recovery, which ultimately concluded in 2021.

Alcohol Withdrawal and Hospitalization

Christopher initially came under his sister's guardianship when he experienced a severe episode of alcohol withdrawal, leading to a fall and a life-threatening head injury that necessitated surgery to address internal bleeding. His sister initiated the guardianship process while Christopher was hospitalized.

In a prior legal document, Christopher claimed that Asmo Baker misappropriated funds, purportedly earmarked for his guardianship, to settle her personal credit card debts and purchase items like a laptop for her son, amounting to approximately $40,000. Asmo Baker refuted these accusations.

Previous Incident in 2019

In May, Christopher faced another incident when he was apprehended at the Hollywood Burbank Airport for public intoxication. He was subsequently released after posting $250 bail. This was not his initial encounter with public intoxication, as Christopher had a previous arrest in 2019 for a similar incident when he dozed off in the back of an Uber. 

He pleaded guilty, and a judge declined law enforcement's request to enroll him in an alcohol treatment program.
