Travis Kelce seems to be making moves in Hollywood. According to a report by Variety, Kelce is in negotiations to host a reboot of "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?" for Prime Video. Sources familiar with the project suggest that the revamped version of the game show would feature celebrities instead of the original series' child contestants.
Originally hosted by Jeff Foxworthy on Fox, Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? made its debut on February 27, 2007, and aired until 2011 before the network decided to cancel the show. In 2015, Foxworthy returned to host one more season. Later, in 2019, Nickelodeon revived the concept with John Cena as host for a single season.

From SNL to Reality Dating
This wouldn't be the first time the NFL star has taken on the role of television host. In March 2023, he secured a coveted spot on Saturday Night Live. Additionally, although not in the capacity of hosting, Kelce was featured on a reality dating show titled Catching Kelce on E! in 2016.
Continuing his foray into entertainment, the potential hosting gig would mark another milestone for Kelce, who has also ventured into film production. His debut project, My Dead Friend Zoe, premiered at SXSW earlier this month. Additionally, an upcoming documentary titled King Pleasure, focusing on Jean-Michel Basquiat, is slated to begin production this summer.
Kelce's Aspirations Beyond the NFL
Last year, the NFL star shared his aspirations of venturing into Hollywood once he hangs up his NFL jersey. Reflecting on his hosting stint on Saturday Night Live in March 2023, the tight end expressed that it was an unparalleled experience unlike anything he had ever encountered.
After gaining insight into the entertainment industry, Kelce expressed his keenness for exploring further acting opportunities. He confessed during his opening monologue that he felt nervous about performing the intro on the late-night comedy sketch series.
In October, Kelce made a surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live alongside his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The Chiefs star appeared in a skit that parodied the NFL frenzy surrounding their then-rumored romance with the Grammy winner.
