The movie has failed to make an impact at the box office with only 8.3 million dollars this weekend making it the lowest opening of the franchise.

The movie opened in China on September 15, 2023, and in the United States a week later, the movie has grossed around 20 million dollars worldwide.
Considering the massive 100 million dollar budget, it will be the first flop in the franchise. The movie is directed by Scott Waugh.

The top spot is currently held by The Nun 2, the latest installment of The Conjuring Universe. the movie has grossed over 200 million dollars worldwide.
The movie is directed by Michael Chaves, who previously directed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The full cast includes Taissa Farmiga, Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, and Anna Popplewell.
