Sydney Sweeney delves into the World of fake blood for her Latest Film Immaculate. In the movie, she portrays Cecilia, a devout American nun who relocates to a convent in Italy, only to discover a darker aspect of the religious community.
Sweeney reveals that donning the nun costume was "comfy" overall, though she admits that "the habit was probably the most uncomfortable piece of the wardrobe. It would crush your ears in a weird way. But everything else was great."

Then came the fake blood. "It is very sticky, and it's usually cold," says the actress. She went on to add that the worst part was how it was applied, but she eventually overcame it. However, the removal process is extensive, according to Sweeney, who is also a producer on the project.
Director Michael Mohan estimates they used several gallons of prop blood, noting Sweeney's remarkable ability to delve into dark places effortlessly. Sweeney, who admits her own fears are clowns and needles, explains that transitioning out of that dark mindset between takes isn't difficult for her.
Filming in Authentic Catacombs
Shooting in authentic catacombs proved to be a truly terrifying and eerie experience. The technical aspects added to the challenge, as the limited air quality restricted the time they could spend underground and the number of crew members allowed to accompany them explains the actress.
Immaculate, penned by Andrew Lobel, narrates the tale of Cecilia, a devout American woman who travels to a secluded Italian convent. Despite maintaining her virginity, she inexplicably becomes pregnant, sparking what initially appears to be a miraculous event but soon transforms into something foreboding.
The film has received positive reviews from early screenings and is scheduled for release in theaters on March 22nd. The supporting cast features Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, and Simona Tabasco.
