Jonathan Majors to make first television appearance since verdict in assault trial

Following his conviction for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors is set to speak publicly for the first time. The first interview with the 34-year-old former Marvel star will be conducted by ABC News anchor Linsey Davis and is slated for Monday.

The court's ruling in Majors' case resulted in a nuanced outcome. He was convicted on two counts: one for third-degree misdemeanor assault, involving reckless physical harm, and a second charge for second-degree harassment, classified as a violation. Notably, he was cleared of charges related to intending harm in the third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment.

The life-altering incident unfolded after a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend, Jabbari, on the streets of Manhattan last March. Subsequently, following the verdict, Disney removed him from the cast of the upcoming Kang the Conqueror movie.
