Following his conviction for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, Jonathan Majors is set to speak publicly for the first time. The first interview with the 34-year-old former Marvel star will be conducted by ABC News anchor Linsey Davis and is slated for Monday.
Nuanced Verdict
The court's ruling in Majors' case resulted in a nuanced outcome. He was convicted on two counts: one for third-degree misdemeanor assault, involving reckless physical harm, and a second charge for second-degree harassment, classified as a violation. Notably, he was cleared of charges related to intending harm in the third-degree assault and second-degree aggravated harassment.

Fallout and Career Impact
The life-altering incident unfolded after a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend, Jabbari, on the streets of Manhattan last March. Despite maintaining his innocence, the fallout from the incident led to Majors being severed from his talent agency. Subsequently, following the verdict, Disney removed him from the cast of the upcoming Kang the Conqueror movie. The developments surrounding the case have significantly impacted Majors' career trajectory.
Majors is not anticipated to face incarceration and might pursue an appeal, particularly concerning the use of text messages in the case. However, his exclusion from Marvel significantly jeopardizes his acting career, given the loss of such a prominent role.
Opting for his initial interview post-verdict and after Marvel's decision to sever ties with him on another Disney-owned platform is an intriguing public relations tactic. This approach could potentially involve Majors addressing his former employer's choice to part ways with him.
