Aquaman finds himself in an unexpected partnership with his incarcerated brother, Orm, the former King of Atlantis. James Wan at the Helm:

Under the direction of James Wan, the cast of "Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom" features Patrick Wilson as Orm, Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, and Randall Park as Dr. Stephen Shin.

The film's narrative is a collaborative effort, with input from Wan, Jason Momoa, David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, and Thomas Pa’a Sibbett. Johnson-McGoldrick takes on the task of crafting the screenplay. Wan takes on dual roles as director and producer, joined by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan in the production.

Following the conclusion of the DCEU, a fresh chapter unfolds with James Gunn and Safran's new DC Universe (DCU) in 2024. The animated Creature Commandos series kicks off this exciting new phase, paving the way for Superman: Legacy to make its debut in July 2025.
