Yesterday was the day when history was written in golden letters and how! Yesterday, the men in blue aka The Team India not just played extremely well against the unbeatable South Africa, but also went on to create and write history by winning the mega prestigious T20 World Cup final.
It's not rocket science to say that, almost everyone must have been glued to their TV sets or their mobile sets yesterday in order to get a ball-by-ball update of the match. But there was one man who did not watch the nail-biting grand finale match! And you will be shocked to know when we reveal the name! It is none other than Bollywood’s Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan! Not that, he is not a fan of the game of cricket. He is a super ardent fan.
Amitabh Bachchan took to social media and revealed the reason for giving the finale match a miss. The Shahenshah superstar wrote, ‘WORLD CHAMPIONS… INDIA!!! T20 WORLD CUP .. 2024.. The excitement and emotions and the apprehension .. ALL DONE and over .. the TV was not seen .. we lose when I do ..! Nothing more enters the cerebrum .. just the tears in tune with the tears of the TEAM!’. He continued, ‘Tears flowing down .. in unison with those that TEAM INDIA sheds .. WORLD CHAMPIONS INDIA. Bharat mata ki jai. Jai Hind. Jai Hind. Jai Hind’.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was recently seen in the extremely talked about and much awaited Kalki 2898 AD. Besides him, the film also starred Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
