Stop comparing him to Virat Kohli! Indian fans troll Babar Azam after disastrous batting performance vs Bangladesh

It has been over 600 days since Babar Azam last scored a fifty in Tests, with his previous 50 coming in late 2022.

Pakistan, in both Test matches, has relinquished their commanding positions, handing Bangladesh opportunities on a platter. Adding to their challenges is the poor form of their top batter, Babar Azam. His struggles from the first Test continued into the second, where he was dismissed for just 11 runs in the second innings at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

This marks Babar's fourth consecutive failure in this Test series as he scored 0 and 22 in the first Test and was out for 31 in the first innings of the second Test. It has been over 600 days since Babar last scored a fifty in Tests, with his previous fifty coming in late 2022.

Despite his poor form, some Pakistanis remain supportive, believing it's just a rough patch and that he will return to form. Meanwhile, Indian fans have been harshly trolling him on X (formerly known as Twitter) after his lacklustre batting. Many argue that comparisons between Babar and Virat Kohli, who is already a legend of the game and still has years left in his career, should cease.

Regarding the current Test, Day 4 is underway with Agha Salman and Mohammad Ali at the crease. They will aim to build a significant lead and avoid losing more wickets, with Pakistan already seven down. Bangladesh, having won the toss and opted to bowl first, dismissed Pakistan for 274 runs in 85.1 overs.

In reply, Bangladesh scored 262 runs, thanks to Litton Das’s impressive 138 and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s 78. Currently, the host leads by 148 runs having scored 136 in 37 overs on the fourth day.
