KKR's support
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may have lost the toss, but they got what they wanted - to bowl first in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Final against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). And surely KKR made the most of it as they restricted SRH to just 47 runs and dismissed their top 4 batters in 7 overs.
Seeing the team in purple doing so well in the summit clash saw fans cheering in excitement. However, what added to it was the star-studded support KKR had at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. First, KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla was seen cheering for her side with every wicket that fell.
With fans eagerly awaiting a glimpse of the 'King of Bollywood', Shah Rukh Khan was seen arriving late but was there along with his wife Gauri and daughter Suhana Khan.
Actors Ananya Panday and Sanjay Kapoor, along with his wife Maheep Kapoor, were also seen sitting alongside the KKR camp and enjoying the final game of the IPL 2024.

Abhishek Sharma was bowled for 2 by Mitchell Starc while Travis Head departed for a duck after facing just one ball by Vaibhav Arora. Rahul Tripathi could not weave his magic as he departed for 9 off 13, while birthday boy Nitish Reddy was dismissed for 13 off 10. Aiden Markram, who tried stabilising the innings scored 20 off 23 before being sent back.
Earlier, at the toss, SRH won and opted to bat first. For the team in orange, Shahbaz Ahmed came in for Abdul Samad while KKR went with their winning combination.
