Sri Lanka will hope to overcome their jinx and win the trophy in the Women's Asia Cup final, especially being the host. The Chamari Athapaththu-led side has achieved notable victories in T20Is this year as they won against England and South Africa, both away from home.

Except for the Women in Blue, Bangladesh is the only team to have won the Women's Asia Cup. But last year, the one match that was cancelled, cost them, not making it to the last four. They only managed two victories in the previous edition, so this year they plan to rectify their past mistakes.
