Australia is set to take on Scotland in the 2nd T20I of the three-match series, holding a 1-0 lead. The Mitchell Marsh-led side delivered a dominant performance against the side led by Richie Berrington in the first game, winning by 7 wickets with 62 balls to spare.

Travis Head scored 80 off 25 balls as Australia chased down a 155-run target set by Scotland in just 9.4 overs in Edinburgh on Wednesday (September 4).

Indian fans eager to watch this clash can tune in via live stream on the FanCode app and website, as there will be no live television coverage. The game on September 6, 2024, will begin at 6:30 PM IST at the Grange Cricket Club in Edinburgh.

    SCO vs AUS:

Travis Head delivered a stellar performance with the bat, smashing 12 fours and 5 sixes. Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis also made significant contributions, scoring 39 runs off 12 balls and 27 runs off 13 deliveries, respectively.

Scotland on the other hand, who had started off well with the bat, struggled in the middle overs. They finished with just 154 runs on the board, which was surely not enough against the mighty Aussies.

Australia even went on to set a world record for the highest team score in a Powerplay during that match. With the 2nd T20I now being a must-win encounter for Scotland, the host nation will need to recover from their mammoth defeat in the first T20I and come back strong.
