The match between Nadal and Djokovic is scheduled to be the second match on Court Philippe-Chatrier, starting no earlier than 1:30 PM local time (5:00 PM IST). The two tennis greats had previously met in the Beijing Olympics semi-finals, where Nadal emerged victorious in three sets to win the gold medal. Bronze was Djokovic's final-round finish in the competition. Nadal leads Djokovic 20-8 when they play on clay, which is where they will be playing on Monday.

Eighth-seeded Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas will play British Daniel Evans, while tenth-seeded Frenchman Ugo Humbert will fight Argentine Francisco Cerundolo. The sixth-seeded Norwegian Casper Ruud will face the Italian Andrea Vavassori.

Mixed doubles will start after the conclusion of the men's doubles match. Tomas Machac and Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic will take on Laura Siegemund and Alexander Zverev, who won the United Cup for Germany this year, in a first-round match. Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will face off against Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev.
