Paris Olympics 2024: Where can Indian fans watch Lakshya Sen vs Lee Zii Jia bronze medal match on TV, OTT and more

Despite losing to Denmark's Viktor Axelsen in the semi-final clash, India's Lakshya Sen is still aiming to secure a medal as he prepares to face Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia in the men's singles bronze medal match at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday (August 5).

Fans can watch the bronze medal match live on the Sports18 network, and it will also be streamed on JioCinema's website and app. The game is scheduled to begin around 6:00 PM IST at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena.

Lakshya Sen's road to Bronze medal match:

Despite a strong effort, the 22-year-old Indian shuttler lost 20-22, 14-21 to the current champion, Viktor Axelsen. He has already created history by becoming the first male Indian shuttler to go to the Summer Games semi-finals. He will also be the first male badminton player from India to step onto an Olympic podium if he wins a medal.

Sen defeated Jonatan Christie and Julien Carregi in the group stage and also prevailed over Kevin Cordon, who subsequently withdrew from their match citing an injury. Sen's remarkable victory over Chou Tien-Chen, which came after his surprising victory over H.S. Prannoy in the Round of 16, propelled him to the semi-finals.

Lakshya Sen has a great chance to win the bronze based on his form guide and track record. Sen has defeated Lee four times in the five outings between the two shuttlers. The Malaysian's only win against Sen came in a match in 2022 while the Indian also defeated Lee in a junior match in 2016.
