    The Indian men's hockey team will face Germany in the Paris 2024 Olympics hockey semi-finals on Tuesday (August 6). India advanced to the semis after defeating Great Britain in a shootout 4-2, while Germany knocked out Argentina 3-2 in the quarter-finals on Sunday.

    The India vs Germany hockey Olympic semi-final clash at the Yves-du-Manoir Stadium in Colombes will be broadcast live on the Sports18 network and streamed on JioCinema's website and app at 10:30 PM IST.

    Germany faced India in the bronze medal playoff at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. In a high-scoring thriller, the Indian men's hockey team won 5-4.

    Since then, both sides have played six FIH Pro League matches with India having won five of them. As for Germany, they won only one in June of this year, which was also their most recent encounter.

    India, who finished on the podium for the first time in 41 years in Tokyo 2020, will try to add to their 12-medal total, which includes eight gold medals. Meanwhile, Germany has won three gold medals in the Olympic men's hockey event.
