Paris Olympics 2024: Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic gear up for blockbuster gold medal match, where to watch on TV, OTT and more

After defeating Lorenzo Musetti of Italy in the men's singles semi-final, Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic advanced to his first Olympic final. He will now play Carlos Alcaraz, the rising star from Spain, in a highly anticipated gold medal match that is a replay of their Wimbledon 2024 final match.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic:

Both men are aiming for their first Olympic gold medal in Paris 2024, with Djokovic at his fifth Games and Alcaraz making his debut. Since 1988, Novak Djokovic has become the oldest player to compete in a gold medal match at the age of 37. Whatever the outcome, Djokovic will definitely take home a silver medal—a better medal than his bronze from the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

With a decisive 6-4, 6-2 victory over Lorenzo Musetti of Italy, Djokovic guaranteed his spot in the championship round. Even though there were worries about his right knee, Djokovic didn't show any symptoms of injury and controlled the semi-final encounter.

On the other hand, Carlos Alcaraz has been in fantastic form in France, defeating every opponent in straight sets to reach the men’s singles final. He advanced easily to the final after a commanding performance against Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime, winning 6-1, 6-1.
