In his debut game, Kohler-Cadmore managed to score 18 runs off 23 balls, hitting 2 fours and one maximum. However, fans noticed something unusual around his neck.
What was Tom Kohler-Cadmore wearing around his neck?
He was seen wearing a Q-collar, a type of protective gear commonly used by football players and NFL athletes. The Q-collar, designed to decrease the risk of brain injury or concussions, functions by exerting mild pressure on the jugular veins, resulting in a slight increase in blood volume in the head. This process effectively reduces the brain's movement upon impact.

Young-gun and hometown hero Riyan Parag went on to score 48 off 34, along with R Ashwin who smashed the ball for fours, scoring 28 off 19. Dhruv Jurel could not contribute much and was out for a duck, later sidelined as an impact player.
