Match 50 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) saw the visiting side start their chase of 202 runs on a very bad note. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, in his very first over, removed Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson for ducks. Soon after the wickets fell, fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express how all the World Cup-bound players have performed poorly in the IPL.
This also appears like Bhuvi is trying to prove a point to the selectors that he too is a solid contender for the World Cup, especially with the new ball.
At the time of writing this article, 4 overs were down, and RR had already lost two wickets, scoring 26 runs.
Earlier, after 20 overs, SRH, who won the toss and opted to bat first, posted 201 runs and lost 3 wickets. Nitish Reddy remained not out with 76 runs off 42 balls, while Heinrich Klaasen smashed 42 off 19. Prior to them, Travis Head scored 58 off 44, while Abhishek Sharma departed for 12 off 10, and Anmolpreet Singh for 5 off 5. For RR, Avesh Khan picked two wickets, while Sandeep Sharma has one to his name.
