    While Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 by 8 wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), fans and viewers have been unhappy with this one-sided final. 

    Many even took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the game, with some comparing it to the Playoff spot game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

    The 113 runs scored by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2024 final marks the lowest total in IPL finals history. Previously, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had scored 125/9 against Mumbai Indians (MI) in 2013.

    KKR's Ventakesh Iyer played a phenomenal innings, slamming a 50, while all-rounder Andre Russell clinched three crucial wickets in the final. 

    2012, 2014 and now 2024 - This victory marks their third IPL win, coming after a decade since their last triumph which had come under Gautam Gambhir's captaincy.

    As for SRH, their decision to bat first after winning the toss didn't go according to plan. The Pat Cummins-led side was all-out for just 113 runs. Led by Shreyas Iyer, Kolkata Knight Riders had a modest target of 114 runs to secure the IPL 2024 trophy.
