IPL 2024 Eliminator - Ahead of RR vs RCB clash, CSK fans troll Virat Kohli, trend 'Haarcb' tag

Adding fuel to the fire was MS Dhoni walking away without shaking hands with RCB players after the end of play and both fan bases arguing about who is right and wrong.

After winning five games, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had to defeat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to make it to the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Playoffs. The RCB camp secured the win in style, triumphing by 27 runs and marking their sixth consecutive win of the season and booking the final spot in the Top 4. However, it seems that CSK fans have not taken the loss sportingly, especially with many believing this could have been MS Dhoni's final season.

Adding fuel to the fire was MS Dhoni walking away without shaking hands with RCB players after the end of play. With both fan bases arguing about who is right and wrong, ahead of the Eliminator between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and RCB, the Yellow Army fans took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to trend the word "HaarCB" (which means RCB will lose).

The war of words between the two fan bases shows no sign of stopping, with each side passionately defending their favourite team and player.

Regarding the Eliminator, RR won the toss and opted to field first against RCB. While RR made one change, bringing Shimron Hetmyer back into their squad, RCB went with the same winning combination at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Currently, after 7 overs, RCB has lost one wicket - skipper Faf du Plessis - for 17 off 14 and scored 56 runs. Virat Kohli is at the crease along with Cameron Green.

Kohli also became the first to 8000 IPL runs, the next highest aggregate in the competition is Shikhar Dhawan's 6769.
