Team India are the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 Champions! Rohit Sharma and his men have managed to end India's 11-year trophy drought, prompting celebrations not just among the players and coaching staff, but also across the nation, with fireworks lighting up the night skies kilometres away.

MS Dhoni - who does not use social media much also went on to post on his Instagram and wrote, "WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS 2024.My heart rate was up,well done on being calm, having the self belief and doing what u guys did.From all the Indians back home and everywhere in the world a big thank you for bringing the World Cup Home.CONGRATULATIONS.arreeee thanks for the priceless birthday gift". For those who don't know, the 'Thala' will be celbrating his birthday on July 7.
The 'God of cricket' Sachin Tendulkar also posted a long post and wrote, "Every star added to the Team India jersey inspires our nation’s starry-eyed children to move one step closer to their dreams. India gets the 4th star, our second in @T20WorldCup.
