    After winning the ODI series 3-0, the Indian women's cricket team is preparing to play South Africa in a one-off Test match at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. The lengthy South African trip of India, which started with a three-match ODI series and will conclude with Twenty20 International fixtures, includes this match. 

    This one-off Test match will be followed by a three-match T20I series, beginning on July 5 and it will be available live on JioCinema and Sports18 - 1 (HD & SD).  

    There have been two Test matches between India and South Africa in the past; the last taking place in November 2014, with India winning by an innings and 34 runs. The only other women's Test match between the countries was contested in 2002, with India winning that match by 10 wickets.

    The Indian women's team last played Test matches in December 2023, with the Women in Blue winning against Australia and England.
