Qualification scenarios for India:
India will automatically qualify if they defeat Australia by 61 runs or more, assuming they score 150 while batting first. If they win by 20 runs, they will need New Zealand to beat Pakistan by no more than 37 to maintain a better net run rate (NRR), again assuming both teams start with a score of 150.
In the event of a loss, India's NRR will remain ahead of New Zealand's if they lose by less than 16 runs, assuming a target of 151 runs. However, this scenario would allow New Zealand to advance with any win, ultimately eliminating India from the tournament.
