After a great start by Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the 1st T20I clash between India and Sri Lanka at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, it was time for captain Suryakumar Yadav to shine. The Men in Blue skipper came in after Gill's dismissal and went on to score his half-century in just 22 balls.

As of writing this article, SKY departed after scoring 58 runs off 26 balls. His innings included 8 fours and 2 sixes. Matheesha Pathirana was the bowler who ended his fine knock.
