Rohit Sharma's squad will now look to level the series in the 3rd and final ODI, which will take place on August 7 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. Indian fans can watch the series on the Sony Sports network and live stream on the Sony LIV app and website.

IND vs SL 2nd ODI:

After drawing the first ODI, Sri Lanka defeated India by 32 runs in the second ODI in Colombo on August 4. Chasing a target of 241 runs, India fell short, scoring 208 runs and being bowled out in 42.2 overs. With this victory, Sri Lanka now leads the three-match ODI series, 1-0.

India's skipper Rohit Sharma scored 64 off 44 balls, while Axar Patel contributed 44 from 44 deliveries. Shubman Gill scored 35 off 44 balls, while no other batter could score more than 15 runs.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka's Jeffrey Vandersay was outstanding, taking 6 wickets, while Charith Asalanka took 3. Vandersay was named as the Player of the Match due to his great performance.

AccuWeather predicts roughly a 40% chance of rain during the match on August 7. Despite threats of rain and thunderstorms, matches in Colombo have not been disrupted. The temperature will range between 28 and 30 degrees.
