As the iconic match between India and Pakistan unfolds in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024, it has been graced by Indo-Canadian singer AP Dhillon. The singer, present at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, even posed with fans of both teams, as shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The last time he was present for a cricket event was when he came for the opening ceremony of the Women's Premier League (WPL) season one. ICC wrote, "A star-studded affair in New York. AP Dhillon is at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium for the iconic #INDvPAK clash."

Regarding the match, Pakistan won the toss and opted to field and got things under their control. They struck early, sending back Indian openers Rohit Sharma (13 off 12) and Virat Kohli (4 off 3) in quick succession, shocking the Indian fans. Axar Patel, who was promoted up the order, played a cameo and scored 20 off 18 before departing. Suryakumar Yadav (7 off 8) too could not do much as he was sent back early too.
