    The defending champions, India, who started their campaign with an emphatic 3-0 win over hosts China in their first match, will now face Japan in their second clash of the 2024 Asian Champions Trophy at the Moqi training base in Hulunbuir City, Mongolia.

    The game on September 9 (Monday) is set to begin at 1:15 PM IST, and Indian fans can watch it on Sony Sports Ten 1 SD and HD TV channels. The 2024 Asian Champions Trophy will also be streamed live on the Sony LIV website and app.

    Japan will enter this upcoming fixture with high confidence after their opening game ended in a thrilling 5-5 draw against South Korea. In India's victory over China, goals from Sukhjeet Singh, Uttam Singh, and Abhishek secured the win. 

    Following the match, captain Harmanpreet Singh remarked, "I think we played very well. We created some good chances, but the best part is that we kept a clean sheet. Some new faces had the opportunity to perform, and they did very well. It's a great chance for them to play against Asian teams and integrate with the senior squad. They are skilled and talented, and I wish them the best for the future."
