IND vs IRE, T20 World Cup 2024: Head-to-head between India and Ireland, New York weather and live streaming details

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is underway, and it's finally time for Team India to kick-start their campaign. Following their loss in the ODI World Cup final last year, Rohit Sharma and his men will be facing Ireland in their first game of the tournament.

The Men in Blue and Ireland are placed in Group A alongside Pakistan, Canada, and co-host the USA. The entire T20 World Cup will be broadcast in India on Star Sports and Disney+ Hotstar, with all of India's group games scheduled to start at 8:00 PM IST.

India and Ireland have played just once in T20 World Cup history, which was in the 2009 edition in England. India beat Ireland by 8 wickets with 15 balls remaining in Nottingham, with Zaheer Khan bagging the Player of the Match award with figures of 4/19.

According to Accuweather, the forecast predicts a pleasant atmosphere with a mixture of sun and clouds. There is little to no chance of rain, and temperatures will hover between 21°C and 26°C.

The pitch at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium has been unpredictable. During the India vs Bangladesh warm-up match, the New York wicket appeared to be a batting paradise, but on June 3, bowlers dominated during the South Africa vs Sri Lanka game.
