IND vs BAN T20 World Cup warm-up game - 'Vintage' Hardik Pandya wows fans with 3 back-to-back SIXES

After facing trolling, booing, and slander while captaining the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Hardik Pandya is showing everyone why he is essential, especially when playing for India. Currently batting in India's first and only warm-up game of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 against Bangladesh, he smashed three back-to-back SIXES.

With this performance, he demonstrated why he is the all-rounder India needs, with fans taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) to praise him and claim that 'vintage' and 'OG' Hardik Pandya is back. He scored 40 off 23 balls, including 4 sixes and 2 fours.

As for the warm-up game, India, who won the toss and opted to bat at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, posted 182 runs in their allotted 20 overs, losing five wickets. Sanju Samson departed for 1 of 6, while skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 23 off 19. Shivam Dube scored just 14 off 16, and Suryakumar Yadav played a good cameo of 31 off 18. Ravindra Jadeja came in towards the end but could not do much, getting 4 off 6. Rishabh Pant scored a 32-ball half-century, which was the highlight of the day.

Earlier at the toss, Rohit Sharma gave an update about Virat Kohli and said, "Virat just arrived yesterday; he's going to miss out. The rest are all available, and we'll see how to use them. We arrived quite early, so the body clock has adjusted; we just have to see how well we can adapt to these conditions."

Today's warm-up match will be good preparation for the Men in Blue to acclimatize to the conditions they will encounter in their upcoming three games in the USA against Ireland, Pakistan, and the United States
