This is a comeback story that will be told for ages! After surviving a fatal car crash and enduring numerous injuries, Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant was away from cricket for 18 months. However, he made his comeback in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the captain of Delhi Capitals (DC).

Now, wearing the Indian jersey, Pant played a fantastic knock against Bangladesh in India's first and only warm-up game of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. He scored a 32-ball half-century, and fans couldn't help but cheer for the keeper-batter.

As for the warm-up game, India won the toss and opted to bat at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. After 15 overs, India had scored 130 runs and lost three wickets while Pant was retired out after his fifty. Sanju Samson departed for 1 off 6 while skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 23 off 19. Shivam Dube got just 14 off 16.

Rohit at the toss, gave an update about Virat Kohli and said, "Virat just arrived yesterday; he's going to miss out. The rest are all available, and we'll see how to use them. We arrived quite early, so the body clock has adjusted; we just have to see how well we can adapt to these conditions."

Today's warm-up match will provide the Men in Blue with an excellent opportunity to acclimatize to the conditions they will encounter in their upcoming three league games against Ireland, Pakistan, and the United States, respectively in the T20 World Cup.
