A a note-worthy clash that went till the 3rd set in the Wimbledon Women's Singles final, Barbora Krejcikova defeated Jasmine Paolini at Centre Court 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to win her second Grand Slam title and her first Wimbledon.
After Krejcikova controlled the first set, Paolini staged an amazing comeback in the second, while the 3rd set was going neck-to-neck, but Krejcikova got the better of the higher-ranked player to win the title.

Barbora Krejcikova beats Jasmine Paolini:
After a three-year drought, the 31-seeded Krejcikova has won the second Grand Slam singles title of her career, the first being the 2021 French Open. As for Paolini, the 28-year-old Italian has now lost successive Grand Slam finals, but she proved her strength by making an incredible comeback to take it to the third set.
"I don’t have the words," an emotional Krejcikova said on Centre Court. "It's unbelievable what just happened. It’s the best day of my tennis career and the best day of my life."
