Indians at BWF Hong Kong Open 2024:
The women's doubles duo of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand secured a convincing victory over the Ukrainian pair Polina Buhrova and Yevheniia Kantemyr (21-14, 21-13) in the Round of 32. They will now face the second-seeded Chinese duo Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning, with a quarter-final spot at stake.
In mixed doubles, B. Sumeeth Reddy and N. Sikki Reddy triumphed over fellow Indians Tarun Kona and Sri Krishna Priya Kudaravalli (21-9, 21-10) to advance to the Round of 16, where they will meet the eighth-seeded Indonesian pair Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Jemie Lai.
