The boys' team has been placed in a pool with UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia, while the girls will face off against teams from UAE, Hong Kong China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Asia Rugby U18 7s Championship 2024 - Team India
The U18 Indian boys' and girls' rugby teams are set to compete in the Asia Rugby U18 7s Championship, scheduled for September 28 and 29 in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This year, 10 boys' teams and 6 girls' teams are participating—a notable increase from the previous edition held in Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei, in 2023.

As for Team India, they will be led by captains Charan Hembram and Vijayshree Rathore. "Congratulations to the boys and girls who have earned their place in the U18 Indian national team. These players, part of our federation's age-grade teams, represent the future of Indian rugby and will proudly wear the national jersey for the first time. We wish them the very best," said Mr Rahul Bose, President of the Indian Rugby Football Union.
