Arjun Kapoor can't stop smiling as paparrazi teases him about becoming 'mamu'

Just a few days after announcing her pregnancy, actor Sonam Kapoor along with husband Anand Ahuja made her first public appearance on Wednesday evening in Mumbai. The couple arrived for a store launch party with friends and family in the city. Also spotted was Sonam’s cousin and actor Arjun Kapoor who was teased about becoming ‘mamu’(uncle) by the paparazzi.

A video from the store launch event is doing rounds on social media where Arjun is flashing a big smile as the photographers tease him saying “mama ban gaya”. Dressed in a cool blue t-shirt, the actor without saying anything just continued smiling and walked away. Take a look at the video here:

Earlier, Arjun has also expressed his excitement over the news of Sonam’s pregnancy on social media. He took to his Instagram story and posted the parents-to-be Sonam and Anand’s photo with a caption that read, "Good things happen to good people, Time to be a mamu.” Check the post here:

On Monday, Sonam had announced that she is expecting her first child with Anand Ahuja. Taking to Instagram, she penned a heartwarming note along with pictures of her pregnancy photoshoot. “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022.” she captioned the post.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar . His upcoming projects include Mohit Suri ’s Ek Villain Returns, Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kuttey and Ajay Bahl’s The Lady Killer.

On the other hand, Sonam will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Blind . The thriller-drama film also stars Vinay Pathak, Purab Kohli , and Lillete Dubey in key roles.
