A considerable number of overs were missed in a rain-affected first Test between South Africa and the West Indies at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad, resulting in a draw. Despite the continual danger of rain, the last day started on time. The Proteas played aggressively in the opening session, declaring their innings before noon and setting the West Indies a 298-run win goal.
The hosts struggled early, losing captain Kraigg Brathwaite before a rain break and behind 64-3. Australia, with 8 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw, follows in 2nd place, while New Zealand, with 3 wins and 3 losses, sits in 3rd.
Sri Lanka holds the 4th position with 2 wins and 2 losses, while Pakistan is in 5th place with 2 wins and 3 losses. England, having played the most games (13), has 6 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw but has had 19 points deducted. Bangladesh, with just 1 win and 3 losses, occupies the 8th position.
