Paris Olympics 2024, Day 2: Team India schedule on July 28 - Events, timings, athletes and all you need to know

After a mixed Day 1 for Team India in the Paris Olympics 2024, the athletes are ready to face new challenges on Day 2 of the Summer Games in France. India's lone rower, Balraj Panwar, finished 4th in the Men's Single Sculls event and will now participate in the repechage round on Sunday. This will be his chance to advance to the final stages and compete for a medal.

On the other hand, shooter Manu Bhaker finished third in the 10m Air Pistol Women's event to qualify for the final. The 22-year-old scored 580 to secure her position and will compete for India's first medal of this Olympics.

Many other athletes will also begin their campaign on Sunday, with PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy facing their first opponents while boxer Nikhat Zareen will step into the ring to secure an Olympic medal.
