As for the women's team featuring Harika Dronavalli, Vaishali Rameshbabu, Divya Deshmukh, Vantika Agrawal, Tania Sachdev, and Abhijit Kunte, they, in the final round, dominated Azerbaijan with a 3.5-0.5 victory. Harika, Divya, and Vantika won their matches, while Vaishali earned a draw. However, despite their win, India's top spot was uncertain until the USA managed to hold Kazakhstan to a 2-2 draw, securing India's championship without the need for tiebreakers.
