IRE W vs ENG W recap:
For only the second time in Women's ODI history, Ireland defeated England in a last-ball thriller on September 11 in Belfast. After a heavy loss in the second ODI, it seemed the third match would follow the same pattern. However, Ireland was determined to avoid a clean sweep by England.
England batted first and reached 99/3 by the 13th over before Aimee Maguire turned the game with an outstanding spell. Maguire made an impact immediately, dismissing Freya Kemp and Paige Scholfield, and later took the wickets of Kate Cross, Mady Villiers, and Lauren Filer, leaving England at 153 in 20.5 overs.

While chasing, Ireland started well but lost opener Amy Hunter to Kemp. At 2/137, Ireland was close to victory when Lauren Filer took two quick wickets. In the final over, with eight runs needed, Mady Villiers claimed two wickets, but England's effort to take three wickets in three balls left Ireland needing a miracle. Alana Dalzell delivered with a four on the last ball to secure the 155 in 22 overs win.
