Yashasvi Jaiswal
After smashing the first ball of the innings for a boundary, Yashasvi Jaiswal stayed to face three more balls before being bowled by Sam Curran in Match 65 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

It was a lovely length ball that swung back late, and Jaiswal tried to drive it away from the body with no foot movement. He got an inside edge back onto the middle stump, leading to an early wicket for PBKS. Seeing the youngster's poor form continue, especially before the T20 World Cup 2024, has fans unhappy. They expressed their disappointment on X (formerly known as Twitter).

As of writing this article, in five overs, RR, who won the toss and opted to bat, have scored 34 runs and lost one wicket. Skipper Sanju Samson is at the crease along with Tom Kohler-Cadmore.
While RR is without Jos Buttler, who returned to England to join his national duties, Tom Kohler-Cadmore was added in his place. As for Punjab, they have already been eliminated and have now lost the services of Liam Livingstone and KG Rabada, both of whom have returned home with minor injuries.
