ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 - Team India
For the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the 15-member team that will compete in the competition from October 3 to October 20 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Women's Selection Committee has selected India's 15 players, with Harmanpreet Kaur as captain and Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain. The 9th edition of the tournament will be held in the UAE, where India is placed in Group A alongside Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

About ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024:
Originally slated to occur in Bangladesh, the event will now be held at two locations in the United Arab Emirates. Ten teams will battle for the ultimate T20 cricket honour in 23 matches spread over 18 exciting days at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
In the semi-finals, the top two teams from each group will play the runners-up from the other group. Semi-final 1 will go in Dubai on October 17 and Semi-final 2 in Sharjah on October 18. India will participate in Semi-final 1 if they advance.

The excitement begins with 10 warm-up matches from September 28 to October 1, all held at the Sevens Stadium and ICC Academy grounds in Dubai.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will retain its hosting rights, partnering with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to ensure the successful delivery of the event.
