While Team India is playing their must-win and crucial clash against Pakistan in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024, cheering and showing support from the stands is none other than T20 World Cup champion Jasprit Bumrah. Sitting in the stands at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the Indian pacer is watching the Women in Blue chase down 106 runs—the total they restricted Pakistan to in Match 7 of the tournament.

Soon after the commentators said, "Jasprit Bumrah is in the house," it was enough to trend on X (formerly known as Twitter), and pictures of him began flooding social media. In the circulating images, he is seen speaking into a microphone during an interview. Fans were excited to see the ace cricketer showing his support and were eager to hear what he said on the mic.

As for the match, Team India has lost two wickets in 13 overs and has scored 68 runs so far. India Women need 38 runs in 41 balls to win. Jemimah Rodrigues and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur are at the crease after the dismissals of Smriti Mandhana (7 off 16) and Shafali Verma (32 off 35).

Earlier, on a low, slow pitch, Pakistan got off to a poor start, losing wickets at regular intervals. Muneeba Ali (17 off 26), Nida Dar (28 off 34), captain Fatima Sana (13 off 8), and Syeda Aroob Shah (14* off 17) were the only batters to reach double digits as they lost 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Arundhati Reddy was the standout bowler for India, claiming three wickets, while Shreyanka Patil took two. Renuka Thakur Singh, Deepti Sharma, and Asha Sobhana each picked up one wicket.
