After being bowled out for a paltry total of 102 in the 1st T20I not even 24 hours ago, the Indian men's team took revenge by bouncing back in style, securing victory in the 2nd clash at the Harare Sports Club by 100 runs. Posting a mammoth 234 runs for the loss of just 2 wickets, the Indian bowlers came in full swing, getting the hosts all out for 134 runs.

Pacers Mukesh Kumar and Avesh Khan both took three wickets each, while the in-form Ravi Bishnoi also contributed with two wickets. Washington Sundar managed to get one wicket, while Abhishek Sharma proved to be expensive, giving away 36 runs in his three overs.

For the host side, Wessly Madhevere was the highest scorer with 43 off 39 balls, followed by Luke Jongwe (33 off 26 balls), Brian Bennett (26 off 9 balls), and Johnathan Campbell (10 off 18 balls). The rest of the batters fell for single digits each.

Earlier, after losing skipper Shubman Gill for just 2 runs, Abhishek Sharma, along with Ruturaj Gaikwad, kept the scoreboard ticking and then smashed every ball across the park. They respected the good deliveries, but once they got set, the two batters attacked the bowlers. Abhishek went on to notch up his maiden T20I century in 47 balls before he was dismissed, and later Gaikwad shifted gears to score 77* off 47 balls. Even Rinku Singh was in attacking form, scoring 48 off 22 balls.
For Zimbabwe, Blessing Muzarabani and Wellington Masakadza were the only bowlers who managed to take wickets. Dion Myers, who was given one over to bowl, was hit for 28 runs in that single over.
