As for the match, both teams entered the tournament unchanged, aiming to maintain their winning momentum. India posted 181 in their Super 8 game against Afghanistan, while Australia managed 201 against England, so the Men in Blue will also hope to set a high total.

Interestingly, teams winning the toss have won the match in 7 out of the previous 8 (and all of the last 6) T20 World Cup finals. The chasing team has won 6 out of the 8 T20 WC finals. This is the first T20 World Cup final played in daytime since 2010.
However, things are not looking well for the Indian team as currently, they lost two quick wickets in one over in skipper Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. After 5 overs, Men in Blue scored 39 runs and the fall of three wickets with the latest being Suryakumar Yadav.
A strong start! 💪
