ENG vs SL 1st Test highlights:
As England's captain Ollie Pope aims to secure their series advantage, Sri Lanka will be eager to equalize, drawing inspiration from their strong performance so far. Despite their defeat, Sri Lanka demonstrated significant resilience, with Kamindu Mendis scoring a remarkable century.
England has made one change for the second Test, replacing the injured Mark Wood with Olly Stone. Wood, who bowled 18.2 overs in the first Test at Manchester, sustained an injury during Sri Lanka's second innings and did not return to bowl. Scans revealed a muscle strain in his right thigh, ruling him out for the remainder of the series.
