With games being played across the globe, most of the finals have come down to this date—July 14! Super Sunday will be packed with sporting activities, from cricket to tennis and even football. Fans who love sports will have a gala time watching their favourite players fight it out one last time in the finale.
The action begins in Harare, where the Indian cricket team will take on Zimbabwe in the last game of the 5-match series. The excitement will then shift to London to witness the blockbuster rematch between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, followed by the Euro 2024 final in Berlin, and ending with the Copa America 2024 final in Miami. Let's have a look at the games to watch out for:
A young, spirited side, who lost the first game of the 5-match series, did not look back after that defeat. They marched ahead and clinched three wins on the trot, taking a 3-1 lead and sealing the series. The 5th match will be a game of pride for the host Zimbabwe, while the Men in Blue will look to end on a high at the Harare Sports Club.
Tennis players Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will square off in their highly anticipated rematch on the All England Club's famous Centre Court. The Spaniard defeated Djokovic in a thrilling five-set match in 2023, denying him a spot in Wimbledon history. Although the Serb avenged the loss, winning here and hoping to break Roger Federer's men's record of eight Wimbledon victories at the All England Club and becoming the oldest Wimbledon victor in the Open era will be the cherry on top.
The two nations will square off in what looks to be an iconic EURO final. Spain, who has won all six of their games in the competition, will go into the match as the favourites and will be looking to win the championship for a record fourth time. On the other hand, England will be playing in their second straight final and will hope to win a major title for the first time since the 1966 World Cup.
