Jacqueline Fernandez summoned by Enforcement Directorate again! Deets here

It seems that Jacqueline Fernandez's woes never cease to end. The latest update about the actress is that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has now summoned the Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez for a fresh round of questioning on Wednesday (July 10). This was in connection with a money laundering case involving the alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, as per the official sources, as per a news report in The Free Press Journal.

Readers may recall that; this is not the first time when the actress has been called in by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with the alleged cheating of high-profile people, which also includes the former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh's wife Aditi Singh to the tune of about Rs 200 crore.

As per a chargesheet which was filed in the year 2022, it was said that the actor (Jacqueline Fernandez) was ‘enjoying valuables, jewellery, and costly gifts provided by Chandrashekhar despite knowing about his criminal antecedents’. Prior to this, the Enforcement Directorate had called Jacqueline Fernandez for questioning at least five times.

On her part, Jacqueline Fernandez had always maintained that she was innocent and that she had no knowledge of Sukesh Chandrashekhar's alleged criminal activities. In the said charge sheet, the Enforcement Directorate had also listed the expensive gifts like Persian cat and Arabian horse, which the actor had received from the alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar over the years.

The Enforcement Directorate had also attached assets worth ₹7.27 crore of Jacqueline Fernandez in April 2022, on the basis of her closeness to Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

On the professional front, Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen in the Akshay Kumar starrer Selfiee. She will now be seen with Sonu Sood in his most awaited upcoming film Fateh, which will tread upon the burning topic of cybercrime, which has become a menace today and is seen increasing with each passing day.
